With a crucial presidential election approaching, ROM, the traditional chocolate bar wrapped up in the Romanian flag, wanted to motivate people to get involved. To succeed, we trolled the entire country by launching a fake presidential candidate. If people wouldn’t vote because they had no one worth voting for, we offered them someone to vote against. The fake candidate challenged Romanians implying that no one would mind because they are anyway used to such behavior.
After one week of extreme controversy, we launched the reveal and a new special edition of our chocolate bar that encouraged people to vote.
